Typically the stick is melted into the depression or scratch; smoothed over with a hot knife; covered with a little finish and blended in to make it look like it belongs. The TouchUp Solutions Electric Burn-In Knife makes it easier. It comes with a special paddle tip to first melt into and then smooth in the filled area. Knife comes with 6' electric cord, special paddle tip and simple stand.
